This week(09/30/2020) I worked on character design. We wanted some clothing that made the character look out of place from the desert. So I took inspiration from Ironman 1, as suggested by one of my teammates, and created the design on the right. Although they are wearing a formal attire, it is worn down to suggest that he has been wandering in the desert for awhile.
I also did some research on jewelry design, mostly on stone cuts, different gemstones' meaning and design of gender neutral rings. Male wedding rings usually have a smaller stone, comparing to female wedding rings/ engagement rings. I also decided to scrap the sapphire (blue) idea since my research suggests that people often associate sapphire with elegance , which I thought did not line up with our characters.
